Our Director

Welcome to ATJC Tauber Academy! It’s the kind of school where parents can feel that they are part of their child’s educational experience.  Our reputation in the community is one of very high standards. We are here to help our little ones develop the skills, self esteem and confidence necessary to meet with success upon entering elementary school and throughout life.  Our days are filled with include art, music and movement, gardening, playground time, social development and sharing meaningful moments with our Rabbis.  We encourage each child to develop positive self-esteem, self confidence and a love of learning. We invite all children, from as young as 3 months old through Kindergarten, and their families to join our early childhood program.  Our school offers flexible scheduling to meet the ever changing needs of today’s families; half day or full day programs are available.

Our Teachers

We believe that some of the most profound lessons can happen during everyday moments. Learning happens best in a warm and nurturing environment in the care of our highly skilled teachers. Our well qualified teachers work with your child’s natural inclination for exploration and investigation to create fun, flexible learning experiences that foster well-rounded development in a safe and caring environment. All teachers are educated and trained in early childhood education and development. Teachers must pass a detailed background check and have extensive experience within childcare or education. Teachers also continue their education through professional development opportunities and mandatory training to meet strict local and state licensing regulations.

Yoga & Mindfulness

Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits for children as well. A growing body of research has already shown that yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior, and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children.

Indoor Sand Room

Playing in the sand is an enjoyable form of independent play, but it’s also a great way for her to interact with others. When children share sand toys or dig a hole together, they’re not only practicing social skills like turn-taking and collaboration, but also using problem-solving and language skills as well. Plus, achieving a goal together provides a great sense of accomplishment they can share with friends!
